I Eat South Florida

My first blog post. I love food. I love wine. I love cocktails and I love my South Florida, I've lived here for 25 years. I love to eat in South Florida. Thus the name, "I Eat South Florida." Not a food critic. Actually who gives anyone the right to be one? I'm simply a food enthusiast and I'm going to tell you about it just like the other 7-billion 'food/restaurant bloggers' out there. I eat out a lot with "My Guy" and you're going to hear all about it. I'm not going to trash anyone. Not what I'm about. You want to read restaurant smack? There are plenty of those self-important, self-imposed 'critics' out there who get off on obsessing about the minutia of a restaurant; and some don't even eat there, they just pick up menus, post prices with menu items and take pictures thinking they are fooling everyone. I'm not one of them so if that is what you want this blog will not be for you, I don't need the attention that bad. I'm going to write about the good, the great and the wonderful. I'm going to tell stories about going out to eat, looking for a place to eat and everything in between. I drive "My Guy" crazy. I love Twitter! I talk a lot and write run-on sentences. I introduce myself to everyone. I have the best stories. I love to meet the owners of restaurants and I know everyone. If I can bring a little positive attention to some of South Florida's restaurants without an agenda then I'm going to do it. Thanks for reading.
